What you will do
- Oversee the design and implementation of data centers, networks, storage, and cloud-based solutions for seamless scaling.
- Develop automated testing processes, standards, and tools to ensure operational stability.
- Utilize data mining and machine learning to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Manage production incidents, risk, and cost while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.
- Design sustainable systems through performance tuning, database query optimization, and automation.
- Lead business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
- Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting using Oracle, code debugging, or log analysis.
- Proficiency in software development within UNIX environments using Shell scripting or Python.
- Experience designing and supporting database systems such as DB2 or Sybase ASE.
- Strong knowledge of the full SDLC, SQL performance tuning, and Windows platform management using Microsoft Configuration Manager.
