What you will do

• Own the product roadmap for the payments and billing platform across Web, iOS, and Android.
• Define and improve end-to-end subscription journeys, including checkout, renewals, dunning, and refunds.
• Partner with Engineering to optimize acceptance rates, SCA/3DS flows, tokenization, and payment routing.
• Lead fraud and dispute management strategies, including chargeback reduction and refund policy optimization.
• Manage tax compliance product surfaces, ensuring correct VAT/GST handling across key markets.
• Build internal tooling and automations to support scalable and audit-friendly payment operations.

Requirements

• Significant PM experience with deep exposure to payments, billing, or financial platform products.
• Deep understanding of mobile subscription ecosystems (Apple and Google billing).
• Experience with web payment providers like Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, or RevenueCat.
• Knowledge of indirect tax compliance (VAT/GST) in multi-market operations.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose performance issues and drive data-backed decisions.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building in-house billing capabilities or payment orchestration layers.
• Familiarity with tax determination platforms like Avalara, TaxJar, or Vertex.
• Experience defining payment flows for external partner programs.
• Exposure to AI applications in payments, such as decline prediction or dispute automation.
