What you will do

• Oversee the developer experience portfolio across the Perplexity API Platform.
• Curate developer-facing assets including docs, SDKs, CLIs, MCPs, and Agent Skills.
• Build and nurture a thriving developer community that evangelizes API offerings.
• Represent the voice of the developer by identifying customer priorities and friction points.
• Lead public engagement via developer events, social media, and technical forums.
• Define and drive metrics for developer health and satisfaction to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Substantial experience working on developer-facing products in a technical capacity.
• Strong empathy for developers across various experience levels and technology stacks.
• Expertise in API ergonomics and experience prototyping API-based products end-to-end.
• Sound understanding of the modern AI technical stack and major industry players.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, specifically for technical articles and documentation.
• High standards for craft and quality with a meticulous eye for detail.
