Financial Analyst (Corporate Finance)

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Corporate Finance): Supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial reporting and ensuring accuracy of financial statements with an accent on month-end closure and statutory accounts. Focus on reconciling balance sheets, intercompany transactions, and coordinating audits.

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite in Makati, Philippines)

What you will do

• Manage month-end closure including journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate coding of financial transactions.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions, loan accounts, and calculate commissions.
• Assist with the consolidation of group accounts and group compliance requirements.
• Coordinate monthly audits and prepare statutory financial statements.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial accounting roles.
• Experience in year-end audit and the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and intermediate MS Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA).
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
