What you will do

• Develop backend features using TypeScript and Node to deliver product outcomes for the Consumer team.
• Design and evolve GraphQL APIs and data models to ensure secure financial data delivery with sub-second response times.
• Operate and improve PostgreSQL-backed data pipelines to maintain performance and availability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to scope and ship end-to-end features.
• Implement architectural improvements in data processing, caching, and API layer design.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to maintain a high-quality user experience.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of backend development experience in production TypeScript/Node environments.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL APIs and relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience with backend-for-frontend (BFF) stacks or close collaboration with frontend teams.
• Proven track record of operating production systems at scale (reliability, observability, and performance).
• Must be based in Europe (time zones GMT to GMT+2) to ensure sufficient team overlap.
• Strong interest in the Web3 ecosystem and comfort learning the DeFi domain.
