What you will do

• Build ingestion pipelines for large-scale netlists and simulation data.
• Implement high-performance I/O for multi-TB circuit databases.
• Develop serialization/deserialization layers bridging Python and C++ components.
• Implement fault-tolerant task distribution and scheduling for long-running simulations.
• Design resource management, load balancing, and observability for distributed workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building distributed systems with Python.
• Proficiency with distributed computing frameworks such as Dask, Spark, Ray, or Celery.
• Experience with high-performance data formats (HDF5, Parquet, Arrow).
• Experience with Python/C++ interop (pybind11, nanobind).
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Port Moody, Canada.

Nice to have

• Background in EDA, VLSI, semiconductor design, or computational engineering.
• Experience with HPC job schedulers (Slurm, PBS, LSF) or GPU acceleration.
• Familiarity with Go, Plotly, Bokeh, Holoviews, or Datashader.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
