Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and scale cloud-based systems to detect and disrupt global targeted attacks.
• Design and implement performant backend solutions using Go.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to brainstorm and build architectural improvements.
• Review code in Go, Python, and Unix shell, providing technical guidance to peers.
• Analyze and resolve production outages to improve system reliability.
• Apply engineering best practices for testing, logging, and resilient architecture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling production backend systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid (2-3 days/week) in Sunnyvale, CA.
• Strong experience with distributed systems (Kubernetes, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, Elastic Search).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and Linux deployment.
• Computer science degree or equivalent experience in data structures and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-latency internet services.
• Knowledge of cloud-connected endpoint software.
• Experience with microservices architectures and containerization (Docker/K8s).
