What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end software release process, ensuring high code quality and service capabilities.
• Coordinate with Development, QA, and vehicle operations to track progress and deliver towards release milestones.
• Track test results, analyze release blockers, and enable successful resolution to ensure product quality.
• Automate existing manual release processes and continuously improve change management procedures.
• Conduct release reviews, communicate status to stakeholders, and manage escalations according to SLAs.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience working with large, complex software products.
• Extensive knowledge of Git and command line interface.
• Experience defining release readiness criteria and ensuring changes meet standards prior to deployment.
• Proven ability to automate manual processes using Python or other programming languages and AI tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI build systems and the ability to triage failures.
• Broad understanding of programming structure (makefiles, headers) and compilation processes.
• Experience with multi-platform build environments (Unix, Windows, etc.).
• Fluency in any programming language and experience using AI tools like Cursor, Claude, Co-pilot, or ChatGPT.
