What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Java services for real-time trading operations.
• Own the full lifecycle from architecture to production, including CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
• Implement advanced observability using Grafana, Honeycomb, and OpenTelemetry.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver features that drive business impact.
• Mentor engineers and advocate for technical excellence through TDD and code reviews.
• Actively leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

Requirements

• Extensive backend engineering experience with Java (Spring Boot, REST/gRPC).
• Proven experience running production workloads on Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Strong DevOps skills including Terraform and GitLab CI.
• Strong English-language communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, trading platforms, or fintech.
• Familiarity with crypto-related engineering.
