What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust database structures and data architectures.
• Perform data munging, cleansing, and blending from diverse sources.
• Develop and manage scalable real-time data processing platforms.
• Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to define technical requirements.
• Oversee and mentor junior data engineers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage the lifecycle of database tools, including upgrades and new capability installations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.
• Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in ICT Analysis, Architecture, and Design.
• Expert-level experience with Cloud solutions (GCP preferred, Azure, or AWS).
• Expert-level knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hive, HDFS, Spark, Kafka).
• English: C1 proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Intermediate German (B1).
• Experience with ML tools like Tensorflow or Pytorch.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Knowledge of distributed filesystems.
