What you will do

• Approve transactions and set credit exposure limits while ensuring appropriate documentation and risk mitigants.
• Monitor adherence to credit limits and measure potential losses stemming from counterparty defaults.
• Manage risk levels through detailed analysis of the business and financial profiles of trading counterparties.
• Perform independent reviews of loan and derivative portfolios and validate credit ratings and methodologies.
• Conduct in-depth sector and regional concentration analyses to assess potential risk causes and effects.
• Evaluate the financial strength of counterparts using quantitative and qualitative fundamental credit analysis.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 1 year of experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience performing fundamental credit analysis of financial institution counterparts.
• Experience in credit underwriting for lending transactions and contributing to capital approval processes.
• Ability to determine and manage credit risk appetite across derivatives, loans, funding, and deposits.
• Experience presenting complex credit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Capability to monitor industry subsectors based on market indicators and regulatory guidance.
