Solution Engineer (AI): Designing and implementing technical architectures for enterprise customers to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business outcomes with an accent on the Snowflake Data Cloud. Focus on leading technical discovery, developing proof-of-value engagements, and designing end-to-end data platforms incorporating AI/ML and LLM workflows.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the US, preference for Texas)

Salary: $165,000 – $216,562

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements for enterprise customers.
• Translate complex business requirements into architectures using the Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops to audiences up to C-suite executives.
• Partner with Account Executives to accelerate deals and drive the pipeline.
• Build and maintain reusable assets, including reference architectures and demo environments.
• Serve as the voice of the customer for Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, software development, or cloud architecture.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end data platforms (ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance).
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern tools (dbt, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Terraform).
• Track record of delivering technical solutions in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience engaging with executive leadership (CTO, CDO, CIO, CFO).

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML workflows, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and MLOps.
• Background in software engineering, specifically building production APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior consulting experience with Big 4 or boutique firms.
• Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Snowflake or competitors like Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
