Salary: $405,000 - $485,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, overseeing hiring, performance, and technical culture.
• Set technical direction and manage the roadmap across prototyping, enterprise hardening, and platform investments.
• Partner with research teams to identify and productize model capabilities and identify critical capability gaps.
• Engage directly with customers and the security community to translate insights into product bets.
• Make high-level architectural decisions regarding agentic scanning pipelines, model orchestration, and data infrastructure.
• Coordinate with GTM and partnerships to land joint launches and ecosystem integrations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years managing engineers.
• Proven track record of shipping cybersecurity products (e.g., SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, appsec) in production.
• Experience taking a team from prototype through first paying customers to scaled enterprise deployment.
• Strong hands-on technical skills, comfortable with design reviews and code.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be able to work from San Francisco or New York City.

Nice to have

• Expertise in penetration testing, reverse engineering, or detection engineering.
• Experience building products based on LLMs, including agentic systems and model iteration loops.
• Experience working in strict data-handling environments (BYOC, CMEK, regulated industries).
• Background in both startup and enterprise-scale companies.
