TL;DR

Location: U.S.-based hybrid role located in Morrisville (NC), Vienna (VA), or San Jose (CA)

What you will do

  • Act as lead legal advisor for the GROE organization, covering global go-to-market strategy, revenue execution, and pricing.
  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements for public cloud, SaaS, managed services, and professional services.
  • Review marketing and communications initiatives, including public-facing content, campaigns, and brand partnerships.
  • Provide legal support for Customer Success, focusing on service delivery, contract interpretation, and renewals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four U.S.-based attorneys.
  • Drive scalability through the creation of templates, playbooks, and the implementation of AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 12+ years of legal experience, including substantial in-house experience at a technology company.
  • Deep expertise in commercial, cloud, SaaS, and services-related technology transactions.
  • Proven success in leading and developing legal professionals.
  • Strong business judgment and executive presence to translate legal risk into actionable guidance.
  • Must be based in the US (Hybrid in RTP, Vienna, or San Jose).
