TL;DR

Senior Digital Activation Manager (Retail Media): Setup, monitoring, and optimization of Retail Media campaigns across Sponsored Products, Paid Social, and Programmatic channels with an accent on technical execution and KPI performance. Focus on translating media plans into high-quality setups, refining audience targeting, and optimizing ROAS/ACOS.

Location: Cologne, Germany (Hybrid; up to 20 days WFH within the EU possible)

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end setup, activation, and optimization of Retail Media campaigns across Sponsored Products, Paid Social, and Programmatic platforms.
  • Translate media plans into technical setups, including targeting, bidding strategies, budget allocation, and attribution logic.
  • Monitor performance using KPIs such as ROAS, ACOS, CPC, CPM, CPA, and CVR to drive business impact.
  • Collaborate with Campaign Managers, Ad Tech, and Data teams to ensure accurate tracking and flawless implementation.
  • Drive operational excellence by developing best practices, playbooks, and activation standards.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media, or ad operations.
  • Expertise in Retail Media platforms, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, Amazon Advertising, or comparable DSPs.
  • Strong ability to work with performance data and tracking setups.
  • Structured and detail-oriented mindset with strong ownership.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Cologne, Germany.
