TL;DR
Risk Solutions Specialist (Environmental & Energy): Supporting loss control/risk engineering efforts through interaction with stakeholders, surveys, and inspections with an accent on identifying resources for risk assessments and maintaining regulatory knowledge. Focus on reviewing vendor reports, managing workloads, and optimizing processes using AI tools.
Onsite: Richmond VA, Chicago IL, Denver CO, Plano TX, San Francisco CA or other US locations. US Work Authorization required. No visa sponsorship.
$74,320 - $102,190 + 12% incentive

What you will do
- Review and assign inspection requests to optimal internal or external resources.
- Perform and review loss control surveys including desktop, on-site, and phone surveys.
- Support underwriting and business development through customer visits and consultations.
- Manage vendor programs, evaluate quality, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Track workloads, documentation, and service accounts.
- Collaborate on RSS initiatives and attend industry events for knowledge enhancement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years in environmental consulting, E&E loss control, or risk management.
- Knowledge of insurance coverage, exposures, and risk engineering.
- Experience with due diligence, site evaluations, and remedial strategies.
- US Work Authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
- Current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations in environmental and energy industries.
Nice to have
- Experience in claims function or E&E projects.
- Trend of increasing responsibilities in loss control or claims management.
- Experience using AI and tools for process optimization.
