What you will do
- Operate and improve production systems across observability, incident response, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Define and measure SLOs and SLIs to guide engineering reliability tradeoffs.
- Manage incident lifecycles from detection and triage to postmortems and remediation.
- Build signal-heavy visibility using tools like Datadog and CloudWatch.
- Implement AI-assisted workflows to accelerate coding, documentation, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve production readiness and deployment safety.
Requirements
- Must be based in Mexico.
- 3+ years of experience in SRE, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Hands-on coding proficiency in Python, Go, or similar production languages.
- Experience with distributed systems concepts, capacity planning, and failure isolation.
- Strong understanding of observability, incident management, and reliability metrics (SLOs/SLIs).
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
