What you will do

• Polish and grind stainless steel welds using hand tools and abrasives to achieve food-grade finishes.
• Measure and cut materials for production and assemble components according to technical prints.
• Perform sand blasting (glass bead) and polish pipes to remove discoloration from the welding process.
• Execute small final assembly tasks and set up frames and pumps at the start of machine builds.
• Manage 5S projects on the production floor and carry out preventative maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Experience grinding and polishing stainless steel using industry-standard tools.
• Knowledge of USDA and 3A standards for food processing equipment.
• Ability to detect defects and ensure a high standard of product finish (typical 32Ra requirement).
• Physical ability to handle continuous standing, walking, bending, and twisting throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
