What you will do

• Plan, shape, and build new product features from conception through research, implementation, and maintenance, such as onboarding flows and activation.
• Improve performance, reliability, and polish existing features, like syncing spell checkers or indexing file attachments in search.
• Build internal tools to boost team simplicity and productivity, such as scripts for importing user feedback.
• Collaborate with design, product, and data teams to shape core user experiences and product vision.
• Take ownership of projects, make technical decisions, and contribute to high-impact work experienced by millions.

Requirements

• Pursuing bachelor's or master’s in computer science, engineering, or related field; able to start full-time prior to July 27, 2026
• Previous internship experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages like TypeScript, Node.js, or Python
• Impact-driven approach focusing on user value over tech trends; stay current with AI tools like Codex and Claude Code
• Thoughtful problem-solving, ownership of outcomes, team collaboration, and passion for web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• Familiarity with backend systems and databases like Postgres, MySQL, or MongoDB

Nice to have

• Experience with Notion's stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, Elasticsearch
• Builder mindset for personal or others' software solutions
• Interest in technology-society interactions and computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace
