What you will do

• Identify and analyze operational risks in AI systems, including LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Monitor AI architecture control inventory and champion secure-by-design principles across the tech stack.
• Conduct data analysis and evidence-based scenario analysis for AI architecture failures and tail risks.
• Oversee model governance, including version pinning, system acceptance testing, and automated evaluation.
• Ensure infrastructure resilience, monitoring for VRAM exhaustion, GPU dependencies, and DDoS prevention.
• Maintain alignment with regulatory obligations including the EU AI Act, NIST, and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Dallas, Texas or Salt Lake City, USA
• 7+ years of relevant experience in operational risk, AI/ML systems, or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML architecture, foundation models, and embedding pipelines.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior management.
