What you will do
- Design and develop AI agent workflows and LLM-powered application components.
- Build and test prompt strategies, retrieval flows, tool-use logic, and orchestration patterns.
- Define evaluation metrics, run benchmarks, and analyze failure cases to improve system performance.
- Optimize system quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, internal tools, or lightweight user interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and improve production AI systems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
- Solid programming skills in Python or Java, preferably with backend engineering familiarity.
- Available for a 6-month full-time commitment.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working with APIs and debugging.
- Proactive, builder-minded approach with a curiosity for LLMs and AI automation.
Nice to have
- Personal projects or coursework involving LLM applications, agent systems, or AI-assisted development.
- Familiarity with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain, or vector databases.
- Experience with Git, databases, backend services, or cloud platforms.
