What you will do
- Lead day-to-day coordination across programs and operations in BML-South, holding regular meetings to review priorities and challenges.
- Support area-based planning, access strategy, proposal development, and partner engagement.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, incident reporting, and contingency planning.
- Monitor budgets, cash planning, and financial controls for field activities.
- Oversee supply chain, procurement, facilities, and internal reporting.
- Supervise field staff, provide coaching, and manage performance.
- Represent IRC in local coordination forums and with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Five years’ experience with humanitarian/development organizations, including field-level work in complex environments.
- Substantial experience in at least two of: Operations Management, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Administration, Security.
- Demonstrated humanitarian negotiation skills and understanding of humanitarian principles.
- Knowledge of local geographical, cultural, and political landscape.
- Experience managing large teams (minimum 20 staff) and security in insecure environments.
- University degree in related discipline.
- Fluency in Arabic and high level of written/spoken English.

- INGO experience.
- Previous field management and coordination.
- Strong prioritization, time management, and problem-solving under pressure.
- Driver's license; 30% travel expected.
