Location: Shanghai
What you will do
- Design and deliver globally scalable backend services for a major game
- Support multi-service architecture and backend implementations
- Improve server reliability and performance
- Implement server infrastructure for new gameplay features
- Build and support live game services
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines
Requirements
- 6+ years experience building large scale backend or game services
- Expertise in C++ and Golang
- Experience with cloud computing and AWS
- BS degree or equivalent
- English: B2 or higher
Nice to have
- 2+ years as a technical lead
- Experience with global scale online games
- Unreal Engine and mobile game development experience
- CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
